According to him, before Egu’s election, constituents often received only token gestures presented as dividends of democracy. However, he noted that since assuming office, the lawmaker has changed the narrative through performance-driven and people-oriented leadership focused on delivering key infrastructure and social development projects.

Anuforo, who also serves as Governor Hope Uzodimma’s Liaison Officer for Obiangwu Ward Ten, highlighted the lawmaker’s legislative contributions, citing the *Imo State Electricity Bill, 2024*, and a motion urging the reconstitution of the board of the *Imo State Rural Roads Maintenance Agency (IRROMA),as examples.

He further commended Egu’s constituency projects, including solar electrification of communities such as Umuohiagu, Nnorie, Logara, Ngor, and Imerienwe, as well as solar-powered boreholes in Imerienwe, Ntu, and Orishaeze.

Anuforo also noted the construction of new healthcare centres in Nnorie, Elelem, Amala and Amafor Imerienwe, the attraction of a 20-bed hospital to Umuohiagu, and the enrollment of over 200 constituents in the ImoCare Health Insurance Scheme.

He added that several schools, including Mbato, Umukwunne and Umuohiagu Secondary Schools, have been renovated, while many indigenes have secured employment and admission into state institutions through the lawmaker’s intervention.

While praising Egu’s efforts in protecting the interests of host communities to the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Anuforo said many indigenes have gained permanent employment at the airport through his intervention.
