IMSUAA applauds Ruby Emele’s achievements as Imo state Commissioner
He said that, as a result of her dedication, forthrightness and leadership dexterity, Hon Emele has remained politically relevant for decades in the state, and further called on other leaders to emulate her.

Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSUAA), Mother Chapter has commended the achievements of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Imo state, Hon Ruby Emele in the 3Rs administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Chairman of the association in Imo state, Barr Okey Nwelue, who led other Exco members of the alumni gave this commendations during a visit to her office on Thursday.
According to Barr Nwelue, “Hon Emele has brought peace, unity and development in various autonomous communities in the state who had before her appointment, engaged in violence, rancour and accrimony, adding that due to her humility, and easy going attention butes made the feats possible”.
Barr Nwelue who also briefed Hon Emele of the association’s forthcoming national convention holding in Owerri, the Imo State capital, further solicited for her support and partnership.
The chapter Chairman maintained that the association would used the occasion to showcase the major achievements of the state especially, in the areas of road revolution, infrastructure, education, public utilities and guaranteed security.
He said that, as a result of her dedication, forthrightness and leadership dexterity, Hon Emele has remained politically relevant for decades in the state, and further called on other leaders to emulate her.
While expressing joy on her resolve to partner with IMSUAA, Barr Nwelue disclosed that IMO chapter is expecting over 20000 Imo Stars within and in diaspora to the state from August 14-17, 2025 who had indicated interest to attend the convention.
