Stakeholders meeting: Imo APC chair,Ebere, Ngor Okpala leaders applaud Kaduru’s support for Uzodimma, Party
Umuneke, the adminstrative hub of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area, was agog last week, as prominent Stakeholders and leaders of the ruling APC in the local government area,converged there for a Stakeholders meeting, convened by the Executive Chairperson of Ngor Okpala, Hon Mrs Chika Ibekwe.
The meeting also witnessed the esteemed presence of the Imo State Chairman of the party, Hon Macdonald Ebere, PhD, and other members of the State APC executive, who visited the area for the official function of pivotal accreditation of the party structures at both local government and ward levels.
As has become the norm these days one of the stakeholders in the area,who drew the attention and applause of most stakeholders at the meeting, was the man whose uncommon loyalty and support to the Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma and the party, as well as his generosity, compassion and dedication to human and community development,
has contributed significantly to the resurging of party activities at the grass-roots, and restoration of hope to numerous hitherto hopeless individuals, and communities, Dr Chijioke Kaduru.
It’s on record that this great patriot has continously and relentlessly maintained all round support for the party, while also giving unprecedented support to Gov Hope Uzodimma and his policies, programs and projects.
The commendation galore which echoed throughout the meeting, followed his goodwill message to the gathering,which was delivered by his representative, Hon Chukwuma Anuforo, Co Convener Nkwachikwere Community Development Movement,the fastest growing political pressure group in the state,presently.
Hon Anuforo who’s is also Gov Uzodimma’s Liason Officer, GLO for Obiangwu/Ezemba Ward Ten,in his brief remarks had regaled the meeting with the litany of contributions of his principal toward supporting the good governance of the governor and the party. These were the donation of five hundred thousand naira to all the eleven wards in the area,and financial and material empowerment of members of the party from across the eleven wards.
He also highlighted his decision to singlehandedly bear the cost of registration of beneficiaries of the laudable health policy of Gov Uzodimma, the Health insurance Scheme from the LGA.
The State Party Chairman,in his remarks after Hon Anuforo’s speech, expressed immense happiness over Dr Kaduru’s unwavering commitment and passion for the growth and development of the party, as shown by continous financial lifeline. He also lauded him for his demonstration of practical commitment to the laudable health insurance policy of Gov Uzodimma.
Numerous other leaders also took turns to shower encomiums on the world renown Public health expert who has played key roles in thetransformation health systems of over a dozen African countrie, for his absolute loyalty and unflinching support to the governor, and the party, as well his remarkable achievements in humanitarian services,empowerment and community development.
They highlighted these efforts to include cash donations made to the party for nealy a decade now, massive financial and material empowerment drive that captured all wards in the local government, and construction and equipping of a state of the art primary healthcare centre for Obiangwu Autonomous Community.
