APGA South East state chairmen hold solidarity meeting

As the senatorial by-election in Imo North (Okigwe) slated for October 31 draws near, state chairmen of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have held a solidarity meeting in Owerri with a promise to ensure victory for the party at the election.
The solidarity meeting which took place at the APGA State Secretariat in Owerri on Saturday, October 10, also had all the state secretaries of the party in the entire South-East zone as well as leaders of the party in Imo in attendance.
According to the host chairman, Hon. John Iwuala, the meeting was routine in nature and aimed at strategizing to build a stronger APGA across the zone.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the Anambra State Chairman of APGA, Chief Nobert Obi called on party members to be steadfast, saying that in his state, Governors Peter Obi and Willy Obiano had done well with the people having no salary and pensions issues.

Among those present was Mr Okechukwu Emereonye who once contested for Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor Okpala federal constituency and currently Board of Trustees Chairman of APGA in the United Kingdom.
Mr Emeronye disclosed that APGA currently has a large membership in 18 European countries with offices.
He expressed optimism that the party would win the October 31 Imo North senatorial by-election.
