Macedonia ambassadors honours customs boss

The Macedonia Ambassadors Chaplain Corps, Imo State Chapter has honoured the Area Controller of Nigeria Customs Service, Imo/Abia Command, Capt. I.A. Bello, with the Ambassador of Humanity Award.
Presenting the award to the recipient at the Imo/Abia Customs Area Command office along Onitsha Road Owerri, the Commander of the Macedonia Ambassador Chaplain Corps, Imo State Chapter, Ifeanyi Andrew S. said the well-deserved award was in recognition of Bello’s hard work and meritorious service to God and humanity.
He noted that Capt. Bello has sustained a long cordial relationship between the Customs and other organization both within and outside the country. Andrew equally described Capt. Bello as a man of integrity and wisdom who will not disappoint and prayed for God’s protection upon him and his staff as well as his family.
In his response, the Customs Area Controller, Capt. I.A. Bello expressed delight over the award, stressing that he was overwhelmed at receiving such an award. He commended the Macedonia Ambassadors for decorating him with such a special medal, adding that the award is not only for him but for the entire Area Command staff.
Capt. Bello stated that the award is a call to greater service and promised never to let them down.
Also speaking, a friend of Capt. Bello a Traditional Ruler in Abia State, H.R.H. Eze CEN Ajuzie described the award as well deserved and urged the recipient not to rest on his oars.
Adding his voice, the PRO Nigerian Customs Service, Imo/Abia Area Command ASP Umana described the Macedonia Ambassadors visit as a welcomed development and thanked them for finding his boss worthy of the award.
In his vote of thanks, the Assistant Controller of Customs C.C. Nwokorie lauded the recipient for his resourcefulness and appreciated the Ambassadors for finding him worthy for the award.
