Enyiogugu Ancient Kingdom PG assures of a new dawn

The President – General, Enyiogugu Development Union (Ezenachigwe Autonomous Community), Chief Obelagu Ferdinand Iheasirim has assured his people of the dawn of a new era with his election into office.
Addressing the mammoth crowd that witnessed his inauguration at the palatial palace of His Royal Majesty, Eze Sir Athanasius Ezekwe, Ezechinyere, Enyi II of (Ezenachiegwe) Enyiogugu Ancient Kingdom, Umueze Enyiogugu, High Chief Iheasirim, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, SIDAB Group of Companies assured the people of the community of their determination to ensure that peace reigns, as well as, attracting projects from both the local, state and federal governments to the area. He added that he has offered an olive branch to well-meaning sons, daughters and aggrieved members of the community to support his administration to move the community forward.
According to him, “We are witnessing a new order, a new dawn in Enyiogugu Ancient kingdom. This is a digital administration; we are going to reposition this community for the better. We shall carry everyone along as this will be a listening administration and we shall function for the happiness of the greatest number of our people.”
While further admonishing his people to support his administration, he said, “We must ensure that HRM, Eze Sir Athanasius Ezekwe has peace of mind and a peaceful reign. He shall be respected and we will continue to support him as well as the 3-R agenda of the Governor Uzodinma-led administration; we shall not disappoint the governor, our traditional ruler and the people of Enyiogugu Ancient Kingdom.
Earlier in his speech, while inaugurating the executive, HRM, Eze, Athanasius Ezekwe, charged them to work in concert with sustaining the development, peace, unity and best interest of the community.
He assured them that his cabinet will give them unflinching support to achieve the goals for which they were elected. The 8-Man team includes High Chief Ferdinand Iheasirim, President- General; Mr Chinedu Akalonu, Secretary-General; Mrs Rita Nwachukwu, Women Leader and Mr Uche Onyenobi, Youth Leader. Others are Mr Ejike Mbonu, Vice President; Mrs Clara Anyanwu, Treasurer; Mr Paul Ndulaka Financial Secretary and Mr Lambert Ejiogu, Public Relations Officer/ Provost.
In their respective speeches, the chairman, Obama Development Union, Mr Innocent Onyegbule; Chairman, Umueze Development Union, Chief Emmanuel Akali, and members of the executive promised to put in their best to reposition and move the community forward.
Dignitaries at the occasion include the palace secretary of the Community, Hon. Ignatius Anyanwu, Chief Maurice Eke and traditional title holders, among others.
