Mass expulsion imminent as Nlemigbo appoints Achonwa to head APC disciplinary committee

The appointment of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s aide, Chief Gibson Achonwa Njemanze, also known as Oyiga to head the disciplinary committee of Imo State All Progressives Congress, APC. According to political pundits, this development will lead to mass expulsion of those perceived to be disloyal to Marcon Nlemigbo led-executives.
Though, it was specially stated in the appointment letter that the committee will among other things examine complaints against the factional chairman, Daniel Nwafor and Chuks Opara. Many believe that the discipline maybe extended to those seen as Nwafor’s backborn in the party in Imo State. The appointment letter reads “TAKE NOTICE that the State Executive Committee of our great party has constituted a State Disciplinary Committee to examine the complaints ageist Mr. Daniel Nwafor and Mr. Chuks Opara in line with Article 21 of the party’s constitution.
“Consequently, you are hereby appointed in the said committee as Chairman which remains as onerous responsibility.”
