Lawmaker celebrates with Umuihi Auto. Community on Oturu Nkwe Nkwe/Mbomuzo festival

The Member representing Ihitte Uboma at the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Micheal Crown has urged the people of Umuihi to support Gov. Uzodimma 3R led administration.
He made the remarks at the event to mark the 2020 Oturu Nkwe Nkwe/Mbomuzo festival of Umuihi Autonomous Community in Ihitte Uboma LGA.
Crown who is the Chairman House Committee on Sports, described Umuihi as people who hold to their rich culture, which they use to expose the ills in the community and advice the perpetrators to turn a new life.
Speaking at the village square, he urged the people not to take whatever happened or said at the village square as a personal issues and pray for the peace of the community.
He described Umuihi community as a peace-loving and hospitable people who have been consistent in sustaining the age-long Oturu Nkwe Nkwe tradition.
Presenting the trophy to the winners of this year festival, he urged other groups who didn’t make it this year to be hopeful next year they might emerge the winner.
The lawmaker also make some cash donation to support this year’s Oturu Nkwe Nkwe Festival and promise to support them next year.
In response, the chairman of the occasion thanked Hon. Crown for finding it worthy to celebrate with them and vow to support his administration as he continues to extend his hands of fellowship.
