The Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodima on Community Relations Orlu Zone, Hon. Ngozi Ihemdi, has condemned the attack on the governor’s convoy by the alleged ISOPADEC workers.
Hon. Ngozi Ihemdi who made the condemnation while reacting to the above subject described the attack as unlawful and total exhibition of high level of irresponsibility. She wondered what on earth gave the group the courage to go after the convoy of the number one citizen of Imo State.
The Senior Special Assistant, who described the action as inhumane, called on the Nigerian Police to do the needful so that it will serve as a deterrent to others in the state and Nigeria at large.
It could be recalled that on Monday, the 17th of August, 2020, governor Uzodimma’s convoy was attacked by alleged ISOPADEC workers at Concord, on his way to Obinze to commission projects at 34 Artillery Bridgade barracks.
It must be recalled too that this is the second time that the governor is receiving attacks on his convoy having being earlier attacked in a community at Ohaji/Egbema local government where he went to address the people.
That was during the early part of his administration.
