Imo LGA’s to be great under Uzodimma, -Emele

Automation is an act or process of converting the controlling of a machine or device to a more automatic system, such as computer or electronic controls.
Upon the above definition such as it concerns the welfare and salaries of the Local Govt. workers in Imo State.
Speaking to newsmen, the Special Adviser to Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo State on Local Govt. and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Chief Mrs. Rubby Emele, has stated it clearly that their would be rapid growth and massive infrastructural developments in all the local govt. areas of the state shortly after the ongoing automation exercise in the 27 LGA’s of Imo State.
The Imo LG/Chieftaincy Affairs SA, Lady Emele, made the above assertions known to the press last Tuesday, 18th Aug 2020, when she disclosed that the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor decided to automate the system inline with the international standard best practices which required the Local Governments workers as civil servants to send in their complete data for their salary schedules of each of the LGA’s with all the prescribed database.
“But it appears to be that some people’s data were incomplete due to specific programme. All the staff of the LGA’s whose data were complete have been receiving their alerts over time. All the Account Sections of the LG’s have been told and instructed to articulate all data that have issues, perhaps by the reason of incomplete data so that their data can be updated,” Emele submitted.
Hon. Rubby however maintained that the Automation Centers in the 27 LGA’s are seriously working on those issues trying to resolve them.
She therefore called on the LGA workers to be patient and remain hopeful, assuring that all challenges associated with payment of salaries would in no distant time be resolved.
