Special citizens pledge support to Uzodimma

Special citizens in Imo State have pledged their total and unalloyed support for the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma at all times.
The Special Adviser to the governor on Special Citizens, Hon. Dr. Samuelson Onyenkwere Emehibe made the pledge during an interview with journalists in his office on Monday.
Hon. Emehibe, who praised the governor for his giant strides in Imo State especially on road rehabilitation, also noted that the governor has given hope to disabled citizens in the State, who were hopeless during the previous administrations.
He pointed out that there are over 400,000 disabled persons in Imo State and that they are happy with Gov. Hope Uzodimma’s share prosperity agenda which has given them a sense of belonging.
The SA commended the governor and his team and warned against any distractions that will take away the happiness of the disabled people in the state.
“We love the governor and we are giving automatic vote of confidence on him. He has integrated us into the society.
“We are happy, we thank him for giving a new lease of life to Imo people. Special Citizens will not condone anybody who tries to distract the attention of the governor.”
“They should join hands with him or steer clear and allow him to continue his good works,” he said.
Emehibe also commended Gov. Uzodimma for his efforts in reviving the agricultural sector of the State, recalling that, last Friday, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with Imo State Government, flagged off the distribution of agricultural inputs to farmers and seed companies in Imo State.
The SA described the event as very wonderful; noting that it was the first time such a programme will be taking place in the State and hailed Gov. Uzodimma for resuscitating agricultural programmes and establishments in the State.
“I have been telling Imo people that this Governor is God sent. Such a thing like this has never happened before; bringing agricultural imputs from the Federal Government to Imo State. The governor has single-handedly, in the short period of time he has been in office, revived agricultural firms like Adapalm and so many others. With Governor Hope Uzodimma, Imo State will soar high in the agricultural sector”, he said.
