Uzodimma receives audit report on IMSUBEB

Governor Hope Uzodimma has received the Interim Audit report of IMSUBEB which revealed the existence of ghost workers in the state primary schools.
The Governor also disclosed that over sixty persons on the payroll of the organization were found to be dead.
While another 40 persons who are no longer in the service of the state are still on the payroll of the State Government.
The Governor also hinted that the report disclosed that over sixty persons who had passed the retirement age of sixty-five are still on the payroll of the Government.
The Governor who admonished other Ministries, Agencies and Departments of Government to the line of IMSUBEB, added that no amount of distraction would deter his government from going-on and completing the exercise of sanitizing the Imo State Civil Service.
He asked those in the habit of politicizing the civil service and pension matters to desist from such, even as he wondered why many of the pensioners who have been cleared would still protest if not for political inclination.
Civil servants and pensioners who have not received their payment alert should go to the data center to submit their necessary details.
He insisted that no amount of blackmail would make him backout from sanitizing the civil service in its entity.
