5,000 Imo housing project to commence soon -Ineh

The Imo State Commissioner for Housing, Dr. Mrs. Love Ineh has said that every efforts/arrangements are being made to see that proposed 5,000 Housing project to be constructed for the citizens of Imo State commenced as soon as possible.

Ineh made the revelation when she played Host to the members of APC Media support group. She explained that her Ministry is living no stone unturned in ensuring the success of the project, as it is the priority of the shared prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma to work for the betterment of Ndi-Imo, where the Governor has since inception vowed to take Imo State to the next level in reaffirmation of his campaign promises.

She hinted that the Housing project will be contructed in the 3 zones of the state namely; Okigwe, Owerri and Orlu, and commended the people of Okigwe zone for taking a lead by donating lands at 4 different places with articulated land documents to the state government for the project.
She called on Owerri and Orlu zones to emulate Okigwe in contributing their quota by making land available which she said is a key raw material for Housing project as such gesture would ease the process of land acquisitions and success of the project.

The Commissioner promised to work adequately with her team in actualizing the Housing Scheme, revealing that they are currently on tour of LGA’s to inspect project sites.

She thanked the media team for coming and for their contributions during the 2019 general elections as well as their continued support to APC led Government in the state and however assured that the shared prosperity would certainly get to everyone.

Earlier the coordinator of the group Comdr. Reuben Nwankwo told the Commissioner that they came to felicitate with her on her well-deserved appointment and to appreciate her for what she is doing at the moment as well as her doggedness and contributions particularly during 2019 general elections where she served as the state secretary, APC Imo State.
