Uzodimma’s SA Disables, Emehibe promises to establish Schools for PWD’s in Imo

The Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, Hon. Chief Dr. Samuelson Onyekwere Emehibe, JP, has promised to build School of Skill Acquisition Entrepreneurship for the benefits of all the Persons living With Disabilities, PWDs, in Imo State, through his Bureau.
He made the above assertions on Thursday, July 23rd 2020, at Ozisa Radio Station (96:1 FM) Owerri, during his Call-In-Radio-Programme (Issues of the Moment).
Emehibe, while responding to some Imolites who called-in-on-air-programme, answered that Imolites especially those living with all forms of disabilities would benefit from the Shared Prosperity Govt. of Gov. Uzodimma under his watch as the Special Adviser on Special Citizens in Imo State.
Emehibe, furthermore recalled that members of the PWD’s in Imo State were abandoned over the years by the previous Governors but thanked Gov. Uzodimma for giving them hope. We have over 400, 000 PWD’s that were sidelined but Gov. Hope have noticed us.
“Former administrations in Imo State over 10 years ago did not remember us (disables) but today our respected, most distinguished and amiable Governor Uzodimma has displayed real love. He has appointed so many persons with deformity into his 3R’s govt. We are now happy. We must continue to celebrate our state,” the SA stated.
“We now have representatives in the 27 LGA’s of the State as Special Advisers/Assistants, SA’s, to the Local Govt. Chairmen. To tell you that there is Ability in Disability and Disability is the Ability to do work and do it perfectly. We are have so many University Graduates and we have come to work to improve and support the administration of Gov. Hope. Our Governor must succeed,” he submitted.
He called on Imolites especially those in the opposition political parties to rethink and rally support for the Governor.
“Days of oppositions, politics are gone and history, now is the time for improved good governance,” SA Emehibe said.
On the issue of COVID-19 palliatives, SA disclosed that the members of PWD’s have benefited and will soon benefit courtesy of the Governor, whom he described as a good man with large heart who have the interest of the disables at his mindset.
He revealed that his Bureau have already packaged a proposal to build and establish an International School for Skill Acquisition Center where every Imo persons and those from across Nigeria will come to acquire all kinds of skills.
Emehibe, in his words, noted that some NGO’s from the globe mostly from Poland will in no distant time come into Imo State for the School building to commence.
“Support the govt. of Uzodimma, don’t attack his style of leadership but have patient,” he advised.
According the SA,” those handicapped and vulnerable persons amongst them begging along the streets and roads most especially the Visually Impaired persons would benefit from the School, if completed by the Governor.
