Nneji joins APC


A political leader in Irete and Owerri West LGA, Hon Paschal Nneji, who many say has paid his dues in politics, has formally joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that Governor Hope Uzodinma’s indefatigable nature had lured him to join APC”.
The declaration ceremony which took place on Sunday, July 12, at the residence of Hon. Obinna Duru who doubles as Irete/Orogwe (ward 10) chairman and Counsellor, had several supporters of Hon. Nneji joining APC with him.
Hon. Nneji who is a former APGA Chieftain said that he had voted for APC in the last governorship election and had come to contribute to the growth of the party.
Nneji described himself as a man of integrity who had come to add value to the overall wellbeing of APC in his ward, LGA and state.
He described Governor Uzodinma as a good man who means well for the state and has already done a lot in changing the face of the state.
Receiving Hon. paschal Nneji and his supporters, the chairman of Irete/Orogwe (ward 10) and counsellor, Hon. Obinna Duru handed over the broom to him and described the broom as a symbolic tool for sweeping in good things and also sweeping away bad things.
A political leader in the ward, Hon. Baron Unakalamba described Hon. Nneji as a reliable, progressive, party man who identifies himself with winners and has paid his dues in politics several years ago.
Unakalamba expressed his joy that APC in the ward, LGA and state would benefit immensely from Hon. Paschal Nneji who is a security expert.
Another APC leader in Irete/Orogwe(ward 10), Hon Linus Iwu described Nneji as a dependable brother whose presence in APC would help move the party forward.
