Uzodimma charges IMC chairmen on rural development

The Imo state Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma says infrastructural development in the state will be a joint program between the state and the local Government.
The Governor who today met with Interim Management Committee Chairmen of the various LGA’s in Imo State added that the era of giving money to local government leaders to share amongst themselves is over as the well-meaning people of Imo state must feel the impact of Governance in the state.
The courtesy call is an important one to avail the Government of Hope Uzodimma the need to know the exact status of the activities of the LGAs and their developments.
Governor Uzodimma asked the IMC chairmen to identify projects that will impact positively to the people like roads, primary healthcare centers, school buildings, water Schemes etc.
He reminded the IMC chairmen that their work is to manage administration and politics in their respective areas by activating the administrative policies of the 3R Government at their levels. He further urged them to act as the Ambassadors of the Government.
The governor also besieged them against manipulating the salary payroll at their local government level.
He further assured the IMC chairmen that God is behind this Administration and under his watch, corruption won’t have a place to stay.
