Nlemigbo expresses optimism in Uzodimma’s leadership capacity

The state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Imo State, Prince Marcellinus Nlemigbo on behalf of the state leadership of the party welcomed the South East leaders of the party who came to Imo State. The Chairman, who was at hand to receive the august visitors, expressed his optimism in the leadership capacity of governor Hope Uzodimma to improve the fortune of the party in the zone.
The South East leadership of the APC in an on going efforts to make the party stronger and more united, today visited the Imo State governor and deputy chairman All Progressives Governors’ Forum for a strategic stakeholders meeting.
In his address, Governor Uzodimma noted that the meeting was to demonstrate that the zone had men with capacity who could represent Ndigbo perfectly at the centre.
Former president of the senate, Senator Ken Nnamani, who led the top notch leaders of the zone to the meeting revealed that the South East leaders were in Owerri to consult with the only South East governor of APC extraction.
Senator Nnamani who represents the South East in the national caretaker/convention planning committee of the party maintained that they are proud with the leadership disposition of governor Uzodimma, whom he described as the rallying point of the party in the zone.
In his contribution, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige said the leaders were in Owerri to demonstrate that the APC is strong and united in the South East and urge the people to remain steadfast in their support to the party.
Those in the meeting included: Senator Ken Nnamani, South East representative at the APC National Caretaker Committee, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige, Minister of Labour, Honourable Barr Emeka Nwajiuba, Minister of State for Education, Dr. Uche Ogah, Minister of State, Mines and Steels, Jeffrey Onyema, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, the Minister of Science and Technology.
The state chairman of APC, Barrister Marcellinus Nlemigbo promised to continue to mobilize support for the APC led administration of governor Uzodimma while working to unite the party in the state.
