Chiji Collins

The speaker, 9th Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. hon (Dr.) Chiji Collins (Phd), said that the 9th house has done marvelously well in their legislative and oversight functions in their various constituencies.
Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins stated this in an interview with newsmen in Owerri recently.
According to him, the Imo State 9th House of Assembly, under his watch has made a total No. of 26 bills that are signed into law, with over 150 motions under one year. These bills according to him are of a great importance to the wellbeing of the state and it’s inhabitants, so to say, as many of them have to do with the correction of the mismanagement of the state funds, such as the law to repeal the payment of pension to past governors and their deputies, past speakers and past deputy speakers, of which himself would have been one of the beneficiary.
