Oath taking resurfaces in Ngor Okpala PDP

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ngor Okpala local government, has raised an alarm accusing some aspirants for political positions in the next general election of luring delegates into oath taking.
The leadership described such aspirants as been too desperate and mischievous, warning that any delegate confirmed to have taking oath would be expelled from the party alongside the aspirant.
Edge Express gathered that a 7-man Disciplinary Committee with one Martin Opara as the chairman was inaugurated with the mandate to monitor those involved in such acts as well as their agents.
The report, however, has been described by some stakeholders as false alarm, and prelude towards edging out those they perceive as strong contenders against the cabals holding Ngor Okpala PDP as their private ventures, wondering why any aspirants that has such intention would reveal it when the party’s primary elections are still far away.
Recall that unconfirmed reports of oath taking were in circulation in the build up to the 2015 general election in Ngor Okpala PDP.
