Eziorsu Community Boils over sell of transformers by it’s Traditional Ruler

Palpable crisis is currently ravaging Eziorsu Autonomous Community in Oguta Council Area of Imo State as the traditional ruler of the community, HRH Eze Victor Ijeoma allegedly sold three Electric Transformers (300kVA each) belonging to the community at the sum of five hundred thousand naira only (N500,000.00)
According to the document made available to Edge Express Newspaper which was signed by HRH Eze Victor Ijeoma, Prince E.O. Ukado and Mr. Kemtus Iheanacho as vendors and purchaser respectively, Mr. Kemtus Iheanacho of Umuorji in Ohaji/Egbema Council Area of the State paid the sum of five hundred thousand naira only being the cost of three unserviceable transformers at the sum of two hundred fifty thousand naira (N250,000), one hundred and twenty five thousand naira, and one hundred and twenty five thousand naira respectively.
In a petition addressed to the Nigeria Police Area Command in charge of Ohaji/ Egbema and Oguta Local Government Areas, Mmahu signed by the former President General of the Community, Mr. Christopher Azubuike, Engr. Samnuel Izuogu and Mr. Marculey Idu as Electricity Committee members for the community, the traditional ruler, Eze Ijeoma who was enthroned as the traditional ruler of Eziorsu Community in 2014 was also accused of collecting and signing of the sum of N1.5 million and N9 million community land lease payment from the oil company operating in their area, Addax Petroleum Company Nigeran Limited through which he used to complete his personal building in the community.
The petition further revealed that the transformers were serviceable accusing the traditional ruler of conniving with his cohorts, Mr. Simeon Ezediaro, Mr. Eugene Obodo and others to sell the transformers in order to enrich their personal pockets, thereby leaving the entire community in black out.
The king also sold 300KVA Transformer Armored Cables by length 18 meters (6×3=18 meters) and the other set is at Oguta police station as evidence as at the time of writing this petition. We want the king to be brought to book before he causes havoc to the entire community as youths are clamoring to visit him any moment from now”, the petition read.
When contacted, the traditional ruler admitted selling the transformers to install the newly donated one as resolved by the entire community.
While, the buyer of the of transformers, Mr. Kemtus Iheeanacho claimed to be a transformer repairer who buys unserviceable ones.
