Ogbuagu charges Traditional Rulers on cultural values

Traditional Rulers in the state have been urged to avoid those acts which led to the bastardization and abandonment of some of the core values, traditions, and culture which Igbos have been known for all these years.
The member representing Ikeduru State Constituency and Majority Leader Imo State House of Assembly, Amb. Uche Ogbuagu gave the charge when he played host to the newly appointed Chairman of Ikeduru Council of Ndieze HRH Eze Engr. Benedict Ikechukwu Nwaneri (Eze Ubi 1 of Owubinubi) who paid a courtesy visit to him at his Amii Akabo country-home.
The dynamic lawmaker congratulates the Royal Father on his well deserved and recent appointment and charged him to ensure there is synergy among the traditional institution in Ikeduru Local Government Area. He encouraged him to ensure there is zero tolerance to rape, drug abuse, kidnapping, cultism among other vices in his domain as well as among all the autonomous communities across Ikeduru. He also implores him to use his offices to restore the dignity of Ikeduru customs and traditions.
