The Chairman Imo State Community Policing Programme, HRM Eze Emmanuel Okeke has called on all criminal elements and intending ones to steer clear of the state, warning that there would be no hiding place for any one that would not embrace peaceful conduct and activities in the state.
Speaking with our reporter in a telephone interview last weekend, HRM Eze Okeke who is the traditional ruler of Amaifeke Ancient Kingdom disclosed that the idea of community policing was conceived to ensure total security of all communities in the state and Igboland.
He promised that all communities would be secured against all criminal activities, even if it would mean crossing rivers to secure any community.
Eze Okeke also spoke about the nice package embedded in the idea of community policing that would make traditional rulers rise up to the occasion.
The traditional ruler also said that all Imo children qualified for jobs would be accommodated in the scheme and the shared prosperity administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma would be a reality from that angle.
He called on Imolites to always go about their lives without any fear whatsoever as Imo security is intact in every community.
The Amaifeke monarch called on Imolites to continue to support and keep faith with the administration of Governor Uzodinma whom he described as God sent to take Imolites to the promised land.
