The church leaders pledged support and solidarity to the programmes and projects so far executed by the Governor and promised to ensure the success of his administration.
Responding, Uzodimma remarked that the visit was not only to solidarize with him but also to forge alliance with his administration on ways to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the state and the South East in general.
Governor Uzodimma described the meeting as consultative which is not only fruitful but portents great hope for their followers following the things on ground which they are eye witnesses.
He also emphasized the need for such meetings having seen the role the church plays together with government in ensuring a better society. “Ours is a partnership that will bring development to our people,” Uzodimma started. He emphatically stated that no government can function successfully and attract development close to the people without the co-operation of the church and its leadership and urged them to continue to support his Government.
