As Imo State owned Radio Station, Orient 94:5FM recently refuted its announcement of 14th April,2020 that Ezeship stool of Isiozi-Akah Community in Njaba Council Area of the state remains vacant which was authored by Mr. Ifeanyi Iwuchukwu and Mr. Dennis Emekosim, the substantive traditional ruler of the community, HRH Eze Barr. Victor Obioma Ijeoma (Isiudo1) has warned detractors to sheathe their swords and embrace peace.
Speaking to newsmen over the weekend, Eze Ijeoma thanked the Management and Staff of Orient FM for realizing that they were misinformed by those who always derive joy from fermenting crisis in the community. He recalled that the radio announcement almost halted the related peaceful coexistence in the community if not the quick intervention of good spirited stakeholders of Isiozi-Akah who calmed the nerves of the youth. “There is no vacancy in the ezeship stool of Isiozi-Akah. I am in charge. I am the recognized traditional ruler of Isiozi-Akah Community. I have my Certificate of Recognition and Staff of Office certified by Imo State Government. Government is a continuum. We were three persons who contested for the ezeship election on 24th March, 2018 for which I emerged victoriously. One person is currently my cabinet member, while the other person has been restless making sure that my reign as the monarch does not see the light of the day. There is no general meeting since the kangaroo election that produced Ifeanyi Iwuchukwu as the President General of Isiozi-Akah Development Union in January this year. The acclaimed general meeting of March 26th, 2020 never existed. Therefore, nobody should hide under self interest to misinform the general public. Of course, I trust Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administrative sagacity. Nobody can deceive him. Let me also seize this opportunity to inform my subjects that my door is open, and I believe that collectively we shall achieve a better Isiozi-Akah Community”, the traditional ruler maintained. Eze Barr. Ijeoma thanked the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma over his proactive measures against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
