United Imo Youth Movement shares hand sanitizers, face mask to Imolites

A formidable youth group popularly known as United Imo Youths Movement has joined other progressives to share some relief materials like hand sanitizer and face mask to Imolites to cushion the effect of dreaded coronavirus from spreading further in the state.

Speaking during the sharing the relief materials, the Mayor of UYIM, Comrade Chinonso Nkem said that the relief items are inline with the Governor Hope Uzodinma’s order of mandatory use of Face Mask in the state.

Mayor Nkem added that they are committed to helping and contributing their little quota to ensure that the people’s Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma succeed in all fronts.

The youths leader commended the governor for his proactive measures taken so far to stop the spread of the virus in Imo state.

Speaking earlier, the Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Social Development Hon. Daniel Oguh Hamza who unveiled the sensitization programme commended the Youths for keying into the programmes of the Governor Hope Uzodinma.

The Commissioner for Youths and Social development in Imo state charged to youths of the state not to engage in act capable of engendering their lives.

He maintained that Governor Hope Uzodinma will do everything humanly possible to help them achieve their targets in life. Lending his voice, the Isiala Mbano Born Youth leader and the chairman Imo Youths Forum Comrade Achiever Darlington Onyelike was present to assist in the sharing of the preventive materials to Imolites.
