IMSU Alumni demonstrates solidarity with V.C

The Vice Chancellor Imo State University Owerri Prof. Adaobi Obasi has commended the Executive Members of the Alumni Association of the University for the love they have for their Alma-Mata.

Prof. Obasi stated this in her office when she granted audience to the Executive Members of the Association who came to empathize with her on the recent fire incidence that affected the faculty of Humanities of the University.

The IMSU VC thanked them for their visit and extolled the laudable achievements of the out-going Exco and was full of expectations from the in-coming one.

She enumerated the giant strides recorded by her administration within a short period in office and pledged to leave IMSU better than she met it.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and National Secretary of the Association, Dr. Uhiara Sympathized with the VC on the fire incident but thanked God that no life was lost in the inferno.

He lauded the VC on her monumental achievements and pledged the Associations readiness to embark on projects aimed at uplifting the Institution.

It could be recalled that the Public Relations Officer, PRO, of IMSU, Nze Ralph Njoku Obi who received accolades for his Dexterity in the performance of his duties had earlier thrown more light on the fire incident. On the entourage of the National Secretary were Dr. Chima Madu, Barr. Nwaelue, Dr. Richard Ebe and Kelechi Anyanwu.
